Okay... So... There's no fucking way out of this fucking city. If I were not angry and upset and completely fucking drunk I would probably wonder how I fucking came to be here in the first place.

But I am angry and upset and completely fucking drunk. How nice that a woman can find a bottle in this shit hole when she really needs one.

Something happened recently. Maybe in the last few days? 'm not sure... I been fucking drunk. The days have begun to run together... I'm fairly certain there was a lot of yelling going on yesterday... People insisting that nothing happened or some such... And in my experience, when people insist that something didn't happen, there was a whole fucking lot goin on.

I think there's a joke in that somewheres.

For those of you who don't know.

Jane is the Calamity Jane. This particular Jane is from the HBO series Deadwood.

Here is information about Deadwood Jane and here is information about the Historical Jane.

This Jane is currently about 25 years old. She might seem older then that to you, but you have to remember, a frontier life is not an easy one.

Deadwood the series starts in 1876. So this Jane takes her background from history before that. I pulled her from around the end of Season 2.

Here's the only thing you really need to know about Jane.

She curses.

She curses a lot.

Believe it or not? I do try to tone it down a bit. Don't worry about asking me to lay off the language if it's getting to be a bit much. I totally understand.

It's not a warm day by any means; but it's not terrible, the air is crisp and her horse needed grooming.

Jane is not actually in a very good mood.

At some point this week, Apu showed her a DVD of something called "Deadwood" which featured characters based on... Well, her, and the people she knew.

Right now she's checking the horse's shoes muttering about how "that cow don't look nothing like me".

Or mabe it was that Apu made the mistake of showing her the episode where "she" takes a bath before a funeral...

Jane has dragged her folding chair back outside to enjoy the day. Her time in camp has given Jane a rather interesting view on what is "nice weather to sit outside"... The addition of some whiskey doesn't hurt the situation either.
